Antimony Ore Price from Pakistan: What Really Drives Export Prices

Buyers who search for the price of antimony ore in Pakistan usually want one number per tonne. No honest article can provide it. Antimony ore is sold on specification, in a market that has been unusually volatile, and a price quoted without a stated antimony content, impurity profile, form and delivery term means very little. What buyers can do is understand the drivers, so that offers can be compared like for like.

This guide, published on DaaTrade, sets out those drivers and explains how to request a quotation from Daa Minerals Limited that you can actually evaluate. Daa Minerals does not publish fixed prices; its website states that pricing remains subject to source review, buyer approval and written commercial agreement.

Why There Is No Single Price

An antimony ore with a low assay and high arsenic is a different product from a concentrate with a high assay and tight impurity limits, even though both are called antimony ore. Buyers in this trade often think in terms of contained metal, adjusted for penalties on unwanted elements, so a price per tonne means little without the assay behind it.

Grade, Form and Penalty Elements

Antimony content is the primary driver, but impurities move the price as well. Arsenic and lead are the usual penalty elements, and high levels can reduce what a smelter will pay or rule the material out altogether. Material form also matters: hand-sorted lump, flotation concentrate and processed feedstock require different amounts of work and carry different prices.

Be careful with headline grades. Stibnite contains about 71.7% antimony at most, so a quoted figure above that must measure something else. Daa Minerals' company profile mentions purity of up to 94% with processing, so ask what that figure refers to and what processing it assumes before you compare it against other offers.

A Volatile and Politically Sensitive Market

Antimony prices have reacted strongly to supply concerns. Profit's coverage of US interest in Pakistani antimony points to China's dominance of supply and processing and to the effect of Chinese export restrictions on supply chains. S&P Global's antimony market report from August 2026 is a useful starting point for current market context, and you should consult it, or a price assessment service you subscribe to, rather than rely on a number from a blog.

Pakistan's own supply also matters. The FT report summarised by Profit says that Pakistan produces limited quantities and that much ore has historically been sold at modest prices through intermediaries, which is another reason to ask who the real counterpart is.

Preparation, Quantity and Packaging

Sorting, sizing, grinding and packaging add cost, and Daa Minerals says these may be coordinated where suitable providers are available. Quantity and contract pattern matter too: a one-off trial is priced differently from a recurring programme. Bulk, bag and container formats have different handling costs, and packaging, marking and lot identification should be agreed before preparation begins.

Logistics Costs

Inland transport from mountain mining areas to the coast is often a high cost, because workings can be remote and the cargo is heavy. Daa Minerals mentions Karachi, Port Qasim and Gwadar as ports that may be reviewed, with the final choice depending on cargo, carrier service and route. Ocean freight depends on volume, vessel type and destination. The IMO's solid bulk cargo rules govern how bulk cargoes are loaded and declared, so ask how your cargo's shipping classification will be determined and handled.

The agreed delivery term decides who pays for each leg, so two quotations are comparable only if they use the same term.

Testing, Documents, Payment and Compliance

Independent testing and inspection are valuable but not free. Daa Minerals states that third-party testing or inspection may be coordinated when requested and agreed, and that reports remain attributable to their issuing provider. Budget for assays, loading supervision and documentation such as the invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading.

Payment terms and currency affect the real price, and exporters must follow State Bank rules on export proceeds. Because antimony is a strategic material, compliance work such as end-use checks and import licensing can also add time and cost on your side.

Comparing Quotations Properly

Insist that each quotation states:

  • Antimony content, the penalty-element limits and the test method

  • Material form, particle size and moisture basis

  • Quantity, tolerance and packaging

  • Delivery term and named port

  • Testing and inspection scope, and who pays

  • Payment terms, validity period and the remedy for off-specification cargo

Then calculate delivered cost per unit of contained antimony at your plant. The cheapest headline price often loses once grade, penalties and freight are included.

Requesting a Quotation from Daa Minerals

Share the mineral, required grade or quality profile, quantity, material form, packaging and destination, which is what Daa Minerals asks for in an enquiry. Add your penalty-element limits, your preferred delivery term, your testing requirements and your target shipment window. Any resulting figure will remain subject to source review, buyer approval and written agreement, which is how a responsible natural-mineral trade works.

Get a Price Based on Your Specification

Understanding what drives antimony pricing turns a search for a number into a structured comparison. When you are ready to put figures on your requirement, submit your antimony ore specification to Daa Minerals with your grade target, impurity limits, form, quantity and destination. You can also review the antimony ore product profile first to see how the company frames grade, preparation and verification.
